I think this is a great lesson and I completely agree with what you say but. Before you have this you need to address 3 things first:
1) you need to look attractive and your body should be in best presentable shape. (No one wants to have sex with someone who doesn't take care of themselves)
2) you need to carry a good attitude with future confidence throughout your days. ( no one likes to have sex with a low life)
3) you need to make sure you support your spouse with the chores evenly (men should not just come home and sit down and drink beer and watch tv all day)
If she still does not seek intimacy with you after that than there is something wrong with the emotional connection and it's more serious than you think. Kids are also a huge factor, more kids you have the less you will have to yourself.
For guys to it's your duty to provide the essentials but you will kill all chances of your extras with your wife if you become a creditor to her about that.

Lady, when you have already been through this over and over for 22 years you eventually just get to a point where you stop trying to keep it going. The good part is you stop dealing with rejection and after some time you can settle into focusing on other things in life. I just do men shit now and my wife can be whatever. That's pretty sad man.. its amazing to see the things men say in order to justify to themselves, that they've given up or failed to get / earn, / keep what they really want or need. No amount of "men shit" can fill the need for not just sex from my wife but, enthusiastic surrender from my wife on a regular basis. If and whenever there's been a lapse or a fade in this regard, there's an issue that can and will be found, solved, and overcome.. every time without fail. Don't give up, even if it's been over 20 years. Find out what's missing for her and for you and address them. No one is just "not sexual" it's a symptom or symptoms of negative factors. A healthy happy and fulfilled person who's safe and who's needs are met will be sexually expressive.

@Tee da Chosen One bit hard when you have kids with them man i love my son and having grown up in a home without my father and mother together i could think of nothing worse then a broken home for my boy then for me to go off and simply cheat on his mother.
Otherwise i would have found someone more sexually compatible i guess.
