Definitely!! To this day, I will regret my decision to not enrol in a music class when I was picking courses in high school. I’m still kicking myself for not even considering it.

My dad tried to revive music by getting me a replica of Kirk Hammett’s guitar...but at the time, I just wasn’t into it.

Thankfully, he gave me yet another chance, w/ an Ovation acoustic-electric, which I’m slowly learning about and getting the hang of.

In time, I hope to become a good musician. This scene always makes me both laugh, and feel good about having a second chance to see where music can take me.

I was in absolute disbelief when I heard what happened to him. I still am. I was 7 years old when school of rock was released. I gotta say, I couldn't agree more with what u said Matt. I wanted to be like Freddy Jones too. I just remember 7 year old me thinking that Freddy was the absolute coolest character in that movie. He was, still is and forever will be awesome. damn true, I had interests in music back in grade school but never fully develop it and only know how to play basic drums and play by ear. But my uncle hosts a summer class on all kinds of instruments. I tell you kids can easily learn any type of instruments. Some of those kids have a career of music today.

This ending credit is just everything. It's true that music is highly important for children, as it helps model their future years as grown ups, and it boosts their chances at creativity. The cast was brilliant and Jack Black as its star was amazing. This movie is by no doubt a masterpiece.

I like to think these kids grew up and "made it" as a band with Tomika, Alicia, and Marta sharing/switching between lead and background vocals.

I took my mother to see this film when it was in the theaters. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. I personally would have rated this PG instead of PG-13 -- I saw nothing in it that would be bad for a 10-year-old.

Sadly I wouldn’t count on it. Kevin Clark (Freddy) died in a motorcycle accident two years ago and from the looks of it everybody else is doing their own thing.

I’d say the chances are we’ll get some posts from the cast to honor 20 years, but that’s about it.

You can definitely tell that if Jack Black wanted too? He would of made a great step in singer for Brian Johnson . I remember seeing this movie as a kid I was intrigued by every AC/DC song they played I was probably the only one that was a girl in my school that could tell you every single one of the songs in this movie in general. In particular the AC/DC ones. Because I grew up listening to those guys. My favorite would have to be it’s a Long Way to the top. Obviously, my other favorite I know they didn’t do this one in the movie? Hells bells. Rock in peace Kevin Clark.
