Way before it got to this
And baby you got me now
Oh baby you got me now
Why don’t you say you love me
C’mon say you love me
C’mon save me honey
I’m a thousand miles away
C’mon say you love me
C’mon say you love me
Why don’t you say you love me babe
Way before it got to this
Oh baby you had it bad on my list
And baby you got me now
Oh baby you got me now
Why don’t you say you love me
C’mon say you love me
C’mon save me honey
I’m a thousand miles away
But you can say you love me
C’mon say you love me
C’mon say you love me
Say you love me
C’mon say you love me
C’mon save me honey
I’m a thousand miles away
But you can say you love me
C’mon say you love me
C’mon say you love me
Why don’t you say you love me babe
The lyrics of Friends' song "The way you love me" depict a conversation between two people who are in a long-distance relationship. Throughout the song, the singer repeats this request, demonstrating their vulnerability and need for reassurance.
The lyrics are simple yet powerful, effectively conveying the emotions of the singer. The repetition of the phrase "Why don’t you say you love me" emphasizes the singer's desperation for affection and connection.
