No I'm not sorry
I'm not sorry anymore
I woke up feeling like this
So I had to write this
Your flaws are not a weakness
They contain your uniqueness
Pretending they don't see this
Don't obscure the pieces
Don't obscure the pieces
No you can't twist their mentality
Oh you can't deny reality
Oh
I'm not sorry
No I'm not sorry
I'm not sorry anymore
The you that you imagine
Ain't always who you'd imagine
The truth is too demandin'
You'd prefer to send a stand in
At first they thought you picked them
Then they thought you tricked them
Don't you play the victim
Don't you play the victim
No you can't trick their mentality
No you can't deny reality
Oh Oh Oh
I'm not sorry
No I'm not sorry
I'm not sorry anymore
I'm not sorry
I'm not sorry
No I'm not sorry
No I'm not sorry
I'm not sorry anymore
I'm not sorry anymore
The lyrics of "Sorry" by Friends recounts the story of a man who goes out for a night of drinking and makes several mistakes that he deeply regrets. He started with a bottle, lost track of time and got into a fight with someone much bigger than him. He then meets a lady and forgets about his wife, only to have his money and clothes stolen. The song is primarily about regret and apology, as the singer implores forgiveness from those he has wronged, promising to be better tomorrow.
The central theme of the song is the idea of making mistakes and realizing that we need to take responsibility for our actions. Throughout the lyrics, there is a sense of guilt and remorse, as the singer realizes the gravity of his actions and the harm they have caused. The song is an anthem of self-reflection and humility, as the singer recognizes his flaws and promises to do better in the future.
Overall, "Sorry" is a powerful song about the importance of taking responsibility for our mistakes and striving to be better people. It is a poignant reminder that we are all flawed and imperfect, but it is how we choose to respond to those flaws that defines who we are.

I think what I like best about this band is her vocals. They are very punk, too many "indie rock" bands are sooooo bland. Her off voice makes this track compelling.

I love her voice. Very rugged and unique. Suits the song well . Inspiration for sure
