Rebel
hello Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Got your mother in a whirl
She′s not sure if you're a boy or a girl
Hey babe, your hair′s alright
Hey babe, let's go out tonight

You like me and I like it all
We like dancing and we look divine
You love bands when they're playing hard
You want more and you want it fast

Put you down, say I′m wrong
You tacky thing, you put them on

Rebel rebel, you′ve torn your dress
Rebel rebel, your face is a mess
Rebel rebel, how could they know?
Hot tramp, I love you so

You've got your mother in a whirl
She′s not sure if you're a boy or a girl
Hey babe, your hair′s alright
Hey babe, let's go out tonight

You like me and I like it all
We like dancing and we look divine
You love bands when they′re playing hard
You want more and you want it fast

They put you down, they say I'm wrong
You tacky thing, you put them on

Rebel rebel, you've torn your dress
Rebel rebel, your face is a mess
Rebel rebel, how could they know?
Hot tramp, I love you so

Rebel rebel, you′ve torn your dress
Rebel rebel, your face is a mess
Rebel rebel, how could they know?
Hot tramp, I love you so

Rebel, rebel
Rebel, rebel
She′s a rebel, rebel
Rebel, rebel

You've torn your dress, your face is a mess
You can′t get enough, but enough ain't the test
You′ve got your transmission and your live wire
Cue line and a handful of ludes

Rebel, rebel
She's a rebel, rebel
Rebel, rebel
She′s a rebel, rebel

Rebel, rebel
She's a rebel, rebel

Rebel, rebel
She's a rebel, rebel

The story
From Hello Neighbor Hide and Seek to Act Finale
1) Hide and seek : Once, the neighbor had kids and a wife. The kids use to play Hide and seek and cops and robbers a lot. One day, the dad (our neoghbor) and the mum had gone out and the kids played a game of hide and seek and cops and robbers. They saw that their parents didn't come yet. So they played another game of hide and seek. After that, the dad got home with the mother's purse. Her mother died on a car accident but the dad managed to survive. They were so sad. The son was really frustrating and took the daughter's doll. The son challenged the daughter of another game of hide and seek for her doll back. She agreed and the game began. While playing, the daughter saw her doll at the edge of a plank. The brother saw her and then snatched her doll off her and threw it down into the abyss. He also pushed the daughter of the plank.
2) Prior to act 1: The dad got to know that the son killed the daughter. So he planned to lock him in the basement for punished and safety. For punishment, because he killed his sister and for safety, there were only to of them left and he didn't want him to die. And he knows he is small so he can't take care of himself.
3) Act 1: Us as a kid was playing with a ball. We saw the neighbor lock the son in the basement but we didn't know who he locked in the basement. We snuck in his house and then got the key to the basement and unlocked it.
4) Act 1 Basement: The basement was a labrynth. We figured out the puzzles of the labrynth and then found the door. We got through it and the neighbor chased us there, the door was locked and we got caught and he trapped us in the basement.
5) Act 2 Basement : The neighbor trapped us in the basement. We're locked in the room. We look through the keyhole of the locked door and see, the son unlocking the door. We managed to escape from the basement up into the high security fenced, neighbor's house.
6)Act 2 Neighbor's house: We are now trapped in the neighbor's house as he has put high fences there. We again, figure out the puzzles of his house and then escape.
(Around after 5 or 6 years.)
7) Prior to act 3: We have grown up and moved in a building flat. We live there for a few years and then we receive a letter which is probably for our rent expiry. So we move in our old house, the old neighborhood with the old, creepy neighbor.
8) Act 3 Reality : We move in. We see that our neighbor's house doesn't exist anymore. We go to its Location and see a creepy shadow. We run back home and get some sleep.
9) Act 3 Dream: We see that our neighbor and his house is back. We see him panic and stuff and sneak into his house again. We find different keys which lead to rooms which give us powers like double jump and punching the neighbor. We also find the crowbar and the key card to the basement.
10) Act 3 (Dream) Basement : The basement is the same. We find the creepy shadow figure which tries to catch us. But we go on and find that very door again. We go in it and see the neighbor chasing us there again. But this time we punch him and go in the door and lock it. We go on to the door that was locked before which is now unlocked. We go through it and see his son's room. We also see something outside the window which is the one, the only, neighbor.
11) Act Finale (Dream) : The neighbor this time though, is a giant. We shoot stuff at him and knock him down to get in the house on his back. We go in and we are transported to a hallway. Through the a window, we can see the car crash. We go through a door which transports us to another place. Our character's kid version is playing. Eventually, the shadow man as a giant appears and attack the house that we are in. Our kid version runs around and we have to protect him front he shadow man. We get taller everytime we save him until he finally destroys the house. He explodes and in the void, there is a house with the neighbor trapped inside and the shadow man too. The neighbor is in another and the shadow man is in another room. We can't help the neighbor so we go on and see a door, a very lone door. We go through it to see that.....
12) Act 3 Reality : It was all a dream. We were dreaming of the neighbor this time. We happily move to our house, greet the neighbors and the other neighbor, the old neighbor, never to be seen again.
