I was shot three times, and I didn't even realize I had been hit

That shit happen so fast I wasnt sure what happened
The event occurred rapidly, and I was unable to comprehend what had transpired

My arm was getting numb and then I saw blood on my jacket
I started losing feeling in my arm, only to discover blood stains on my jacket

I Got up out the hospital they said that I was cool
I was discharged from the hospital, and the medical professionals confirmed that I was okay

12 took my clothes and my jewelry, they took da glizzy too
The police seized my clothing, jewelry, and firearms as evidence

No disrespect but that's my right I need my glizzy back
I don't mean any offense, but it is my right to have my firearm returned to me

Cuz in this city you just can get caught without yo strap
Because in this city, it is extremely risky to be unarmed

5 shootings in a month
There have been five incidents of gun violence within the span of a month

They all a mystery
All of these shootings remain unsolved cases

Come on Akron it's suppose to be black history
Come on, Akron! We should be celebrating our black culture and achievements, not engaging in violence

Too many blacks
There are too many Black individuals

Tryna put other blacks out they misery
Some Black individuals are attempting to harm or kill their own community members

And it's a fact all this gone lead to the devil to victory
It is an unfortunate reality that these actions will only empower negative influences and result in harm

I had to pay out of my pocket
I had to use my own money to cover the expenses

Because I did not have any insurance to cover the costs
