It’s a very beautiful solo, he was truly feeling it too, and in my book that’ll make it or break it.

I think most everyone here has mentioned some crazy solos, but I know of one that is amazing, and never gets its dues since the band never really broke on the radio or the mainstream.

Though they hailed from the same place that Blondie, Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, and The Ramones came from (CBGB’s: NYC).

The band Television has an amazing tune called “Marquee Moon” which, to me, has one of the most epic odyssey’s of guitar solos ever!

Not possibly but high probability.. 💚

@boitel2000 I couldn't agree more! If you haven't already listened some of Frank Zappa's stuff, then you are definitely in for a surprise. If you listen to the short but fast guitar work by Zappa on Nanuk Rubs It, you'll be blown away.

Thanks Jamel. This is an incredibly tasty solo and it's nice club players like Mr. Buck can have an international stage today. Please don't get my saying "club player" wrong. I'm one. In addition to picking great musicians, the music industry can pump a lot of crap while ignoring some incredibly gifted players.

Please, please, please check out Phil Keaggy. Incredible guitarist and one man band; meaning his ability to use one acoustic guitar to play lead, rhythm, percussion and bass at the same time, and even add something eastern sounding while singing and live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l-oAZBiTIE

Please review this ?! Most of the audience are completely unaware of what they're watching ! It's phenomenal. Gillans vocals , Powells drums, Blackmores driven riffs throughout 👌

BTW .....music, art, guitar playing is NOT a contest.

Hey Jamal, love you comments at the end. Your so right about comparisons. It’s not a track meet, with a winner and loser. It’s art, and very personal at that. But then you knew that, didn’t you?! 😉 Love the channel, your family, and the vibe you put out to everyone. To my brother in all things related to music. Regards.

Yes yes yes…let’s stop the comparison…it implies someone or some group better than the other. Nah we all just trying to be! ✌🏼❤️

For most exceptional guitarist the guitar is an extension of their body. they don't need to look to hit the notes and chords. when you see them with their head down it doesn't mean they're looking at the guitar they're just feeling the music. this was definitely an exceptional performance. it is hard to say that there is a G.O.A.T when it comes to guitar playing. there are just too many great guitarists out there.

Chris Buck is very good at playing with feeling. He's definitely an exceptional guitarist for the current generation. He's also aware of his musical roots, and honors his heroes.

David Gilmore will always probably be my top soloist, though many others of his generation created magic as well.
