Valentina Del Giudice (Judie) was born in Naples in 1980 into a family of well-known muscians and poets. In 1994 she started playing live, offering the delicate intimacy of her compositions, fruit of her on-the-road diaries, to enthusiastic audiences in festivals and music competitions in several Italian cities. Inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley, Judie has proved her worth with her gritty and evocative live performances, her folk-rock world with a blues soul. In 2006 she left Italy and set up home in France (for Love...let it be said!) In her new home and with her new Trio - Nicolas Diem on drums and Ded Lagarde on bass - she has infused her music with new sounds, rhythms and atmospheres. Judie has not severed her links with Italy, however, returning to Naples in March 2007 to record three tracks for the upcoming album of violinist Edo Notarloberti (Ashram) and the young pianist Martina Mollo (Rua Port'Alba).

The lyrics to Judie's song "Gratitude" describe a person who pretends to be invisible so they don't have to face the person they like. The singer finds themselves drowning in a pool, hoping their crush will come and save them. They try to get their attention by creating spells and falling on the stairs, hoping their crush will rescue them. The singer even goes out with their crush's neighbors just to get their attention. The chorus repeats the phrase "I just want to play with you" several times.
The song expresses the struggle and fear of falling in love with someone who may not reciprocate. The singer tries their best to get the attention of their crush by doing different things but is never completely sure if the feelings will be returned. They try to downplay their interest in the person by saying they just want to play or have fun with them, but in reality, it's much deeper than that.
Overall, "Gratitude" is a heartfelt and relatable song about the joys and struggles of love.

Mindenkinek más az ízlése.Én mindenevő vagyok, de a magyar zenék valahogy nem lopták be magukat a szívembe. Viszont annak nagyon örülök hogy rátaláltam erre a zenére és ráadásul kellemes csalódás is, hogy magyar. Szinte mindennap meghallgatom és máris jobb kedvem lesz.:)
