My key destroyed the cork. Make sure you put the key at the exact angle!

Edit: it worked! Just shove the key down the side then push the cork in if it’s destroyed. So happy and it tastes so good. (Apothic crush)

One time my friend and I had a really stubborn cork and just a standard corkscrew. Nobody could pull the cork out even with one guy holding the bottle and another guy pulling. Me and my buddy sat on the ground, placed or feet against each other. One guy holding the bottle and the other guy pulling the corkscrew. @FatBongRipz 420 I always put the neck of my wine bottle in warm water before I use corkscrew.
In warm conditiins all substances becomes biger. In cold conditions all substances becomes smaller.
It is much easy to open bottle after 1-3 minutes warm water procedure.

By far the easiest and most quickest efficient safe way for me was using a key I pushed in sideways and turned the bottle slowly as I held the key in place I hardly pulled on it when the key came out I just pulled the fork out. The lighter fluid didn’t work always.

The screw method works very well with a claw hammer. Use a nice thick screw for maximum purchase. Had to switch screws after pulling one straight out the cork twice so use a thick one for no hassle

hit the neck with a lighter for a couple seconds. i didnt want the cork flying through the air so i just warmed the neck up a bit. drove a screw through it and just pulled it with my hand and it came right out. no fork needed

The heat way worked for me but you have to do for 5 minutes and go all around the neck so you have to move it in circle (the bottle) also needs to be at room temperature or else will explode

I don't know how to use corkscrew but I do have a traditional one. I heated the upper part of the bottle like shown in the video for 40 secs and still trying to pull the cork with the corkscrew.. I heated it and then still tried to screw it. It worked! Neither the cork nor the wine "flew". It was smooth pulling without force. Guess the heat reached the cork and made it easier to be pulled out.

Used the key method. Removed the cork in 1 try. Just make sure only 1 side of the key is sharp the other half is blunt.

I tried it once with a key, key broke off. Awesome
Then I actually had a corkscrew and when I twisted it in and about done the screw broke off. Great 🤦🏽‍♀️
So looked this up and I used a lighter all around the neck for about a min - min n/a half, grabbed a small serrated knife and was able to pull that baby out really smooth even without using any force!

you dont even need to hold the lighter there for a minute. just enough so the glass is warm, but not hot so the cork doesn't fly across the room and shatter a window. Drive a screw in about half an inch and you can just pull it out by yanking on the screw

Pk the lighter method es no bueno. The screw method no bueno the shoe pounding method no bueno. Maybe the lesson for me is dont sell every item I posses in a my gourmet kitchen thinking I'm moving back to the states. The lighter works the best! No hard pulling or pushing needed. Heat it up right under the cork, the heat starts to build up in the bottle which causes the pressure and push the cork right off. Side note: it flys pretty hard like Champagne so make sure you have some and it’s not pointed towards any one.

I tried the first method, used all the gas in the lighter I had available and when I went to clean the char off the bottle using the tap to try the second method it perfectly cracked the top off the bottle so I could pull the cork out. Apparently it’s called thermal fracturing! Worth a try if anyone is trying and failing at the first method after some time like I was

You heat the air pocket between the cork and wine, not the cork. My cork was brittle and also fake, but because I kept the flame moving and stayed in that air pocket, it’s the hot air expanding that pushes the cork out, so it worked.

You can’t count the fifth one as removing the cork, as you pushed it in the bottle. What happens if you don’t finish the wine with the cork inside the bottle you have no way to re cork the wine bottle.

One that ALWAYS works and is clean. Take off your shoe and hit the bottom of the bottle as evenly as you can over and over. Hit it as hard as you can without getting crazy. You can hold the bottle however, even upside down. The cork won't fly out the first whack so you can gauge how it's coming. About halfway out you can grip the cork and wiggle it out. I used this in Alaska quite a bit. Always drinking red wine traveling. I remember it took about 15 wacks. Could be off but it was surprisingly easy.

I did the burner - bit scared but - as mentioned 1 min - heat the air between the liquid and the cork - the cork pop out slowly - but will a noice at the end 😂

The first one didn’t work for me as the cork was too rubberish. The fire one was the smoothest 👍

I had a pocket knife corkscrew that was to short. I used the flame method for 30 seconds then back to the pocket screw and bam. Out like a charm

Most useful video on the matter. A friend of mine cut his hand using a knife by watching a different video but the screwdriver trick was gold.

The lighter and the sneaker technique are very interesting, I need to try them!

1. Heat the neck of the bottle with a lighter for a few seconds so it is warm but not hot.
2. Drive a screw half inch into the cork.
3. If you are a man you can just pull on the screw and it will come out, no fork needed.

I just struggled for 40 min trying to open my wine, finally got it open using a combination of these. They didn't really work, I literally dug the cork out piece by piece. I also broke a knife.

I had a BBQ lighter on my bottle for a few and a half minutes and the cork wouldn't budge. I gave the bottle a minor shake to get the carbonation force behind it and the bottle exploded, from the neck up -- with the cork still stuck in the top.

It might work at one minute thus way if you give it a constant shake but it may not be as smooth as you see here.
