Overall Meaning

In "Armed & Dangerous," King Von raps about the constant police surveillance and the violent lifestyle he's lived that has made him the person he is today. The opening lines of the song talk about how the police continuously watch him, and he keeps a Glock on him to protect himself in case of any danger. However, he claims he isn't looking for any trouble and is just focused on himself. He's been a part of real tragedies and massacres that people don't talk about, and he's sure that they remember him for what he's done. The lyrics mention the back-to-back funerals and the fact that they'll do anything to protect themselves and their own, even if it means doing it for free.

King Von also references some personal experiences from his life, such as the death of his cousin Odee and his uncle's drug addiction. He talks about staying up late to talk to him and has seen the damage that drugs can cause. It is a part of his life that he's familiar with and wishes to do everything possible to keep his loved ones safe. In the end, he says that if you're not family, you're nothing to him.
