Lilly Among Clouds wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie in Niederbayern auf und lebt in der Nähe von Würzburg. Sie spielt Klavier und schreibt ihre Songs selbst. Sie ist beim Label PIAS Recordings unter Vertrag.
2019 nahm Lilly Among Clouds am deutschen Vorentscheid für den Eurovision Song Contest 2019, Unser Lied für Israel, mit dem Lied Surprise teil und wurde Dritte.
Bis 2015 war Lilly Among Clouds als quasi Solo-Projekt mit dem Namen lilly among thorns unterwegs und spielte unter anderem auf dem Himmelfahrt-Festival 2011.
Ihre Musik damals wie heute besticht nach wie vor durch ihre extrem mächtige und klangvolle Stimme, die unglaublich viel ausprobiert und transportiert. Früher war sie allein an Klavier oder der Gitarre, heute hat sie eine dreiköpfige Band, die der Musik eine weitreichendere Tragweite gibt, an ihrer Seite.

There are many male performer at eurovision this year, it needs something delicate from female performer like her. And i have to agree with you, her song is just masterpiece. Hope germany will choose her internally next year with three songs which are composed by herself .😆😆
