Part of an underground Hip-hop group "Bu Ke Kang Li", Lui debuted in the Shanghai hiphop scene with the song "Shangtown Mic Pass," which featured members of "Bu Ke Kang Li" along with other prominent hiphop artists. The group "Bu Ke Kang Li" was created in 2004 while most of the members were a part of Bamboo Crew (Zhu You Ren), a critically-acclaimed underground Hip-hop group based in Shanghai.
