In 1995, they released their debut album "JYURYOKU DOROBO" on the Benten Label.
That same year, the girls wrote and recorded a song for a Coca-Cola commercial.
The song became a big hit and was a radio favorite throughout Japan.
In 1999, the band moved to DELICIOUS LABEL, the new label run by rocker Yamanaka Sawao of The Pillows.
Noodles began to focus their efforts on recording and playing shows. Over the next couple years, the girls toured Japan six times, building a legion of loyal fans.
In March, 2003, they opened for their heroes, The Breeders, in Osaka.
Later that year, Noodles started to branch out overseas by performing at the CMJ Music Marathon.
They have since been back to the States for two US tours and have appeared at SXSW two years in a row.
Their most recent US tour, in spring 2005, was as the opening act on the very successful DELICIOUS BUMP TOUR with anime champions, The Pillows.
Now, Noodles returns to the US for the Electric Finish Tour with Seattle's The Stereo Future.
Even with the 2004 loss of their second guitarist, Junko, the girls show no sign of slowing down.
In fact, their songwriting has never been better and their fan base, both in Japan and in the States, just keeps on growing.
Noodles remain Japan's best all-girl rock ensemble.
Noodles wrote all music for the movie "Love my life", in cinemas in Japan from December 2006. http://www.lovemylife.jp

i throw the leaf
In the raindrop In the raindrop
I shined my shoes
On the cable On the cable
My own words
In the brownish In the brownish
I'm just going where you go
If only I could meet you, hey
But i don't feel well and yet
She, her
On the cable On the cable
My own words
In the brownish In the brownish
So wink my eyes
I'm just going where you go
If only I could meet you, hey
I whis only let she go
And play in a sunny place
I'm just going where you go
If only I could meet you, hey
But i don't feel well and yet
She, her
The lyrics to Noodles' song "She Her" are somewhat cryptic and abstract, but they seem to evoke a sense of longing and yearning for someone or something that is just out of reach. The opening lines, "On the flower I throw the leaf, in the raindrop I shined my shoes," suggest a kind of playful or childlike wonder at the natural world, but also perhaps an element of wishing for something impossible or fleeting. The next lines, "On the cable my own words, in the brownish so wink my eyes," are similarly elusive and poetic, with the mention of "my own words" hinting at a desire to express oneself authentically and creatively, while "in the brownish" and "so wink my eyes" are more mysterious and open to interpretation.
The repeated refrain of "I'm just going where you go, if only I could meet you, hey, but I don't feel well and yet, she, her" reinforces this sense of longing for someone or something that can't quite be reached. The use of pronouns like "she" and "her" is intentionally vague, further adding to the sense of mystery and distance. It's unclear whether the singer is referring to a specific person, an idealized version of someone they know, or even a metaphorical representation of a feeling or emotion.
Overall, the lyrics to "She Her" are impressionistic and poetic, inviting the listener to interpret and engage with the words on their own terms. They seem to capture a sense of longing and wistfulness that is both poignant and enigmatic, leaving plenty of room for individual interpretation and emotional resonance.
