He was best known for his breakout single "Choppa," and the controversy with Comethazine over most certainly copying his track "Piped Up."

ohtrapstar is the cousin of Lil Ominous, and allegedly, the "trapper of the century" Lil Pump, though Lil Pump has gone on to deny these claims.

On November 9, 2018, ohtrapstar released his debut EP, This Will All Make Perfect Sense One Day. On February 2, 2019, ohtrapstar released his debut mixtape, 1%. And finally, on June 5, 2020, ohtrapstar released his debut album, A Star Was Born.

In 2021, ohtrapstar went on and released 2 projects, Heaven On Earth and the highly anticipated Ultra Violet.

Oh May 25th, 2022, Trapstar alongside two others would sadly lose their lives due to a horrific car crash. The car slammed into a duplex in Miami before it went up in flames.
