Satisfaction
rada-p Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Who ever thought you could sink this low?
You try your best not to let it show
But I can see that look in your eye
I don't judge, I don't ask why
As long as there's demand I'll supply
That's what matters to me, oh

So step inside, baby don't be shy
Things aren't always what they seem
It's alright, you're just trying to get by
And I can get you anything you need
Let me know, I won't let you down
Baby you can count on me
'Cause 'round here, satisfaction's guaranteed

The higher they are, the harder they fall
Who are you fooling? I've seen it all
Heads will turn when you enter the room
But behind the makeup you hide the truth
Once you start you've got too much to lose
But that don't matter to you, no

So step inside, baby don't be shy
Things aren't always what they seem
It's alright, I can get you high
I can get you anything you need
Let me know, I won't let you down
Baby you can count on me
'Cause 'round here, satisfaction's guaranteed

Let the feeling burn
Into the back of your mind
Next time maybe you'll learn
Don't come crying to me
When you've got nowhere else left to turn
Let the feeling burn
Into the back of your mind
Next time maybe you'll learn
Don't come crying to me
When you've got nowhere else left to turn
Let it burn

Addiction's such a dirty word
What's the news?
Tell me, haven't you heard?
Such a shame, such a lovely girl
But that don't matter to me, no no
That can't matter to me

Let the feeling burn
Into the back of your mind
Next time maybe you'll learn

Don't come crying to me
When you've got nowhere else left to turn

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Rada-p's song "Satisfaction" delve into the themes of secrecy, the allure of success, and the consequences of addiction. The song begins with the observation that someone has reached a low point in their life, and although they try to hide it, the singer can see the pain in their eyes. The singer does not judge or question the reasons behind this person's struggles; their main focus is on meeting the person's demands, satisfying their needs, and providing support. This suggests a willingness to assist without passing judgment, highlighting a non-judgmental and accommodating attitude.

The chorus emphasizes that things may not always be as they appear. The person in question is likely disguising their struggles behind a facade, perhaps in order to maintain their reputation or avoid judgment. However, the singer reassures them that it's okay, as they are just trying to get by like everyone else. The singer offers support and promises not to let them down, portraying a sense of reliability in a challenging world. The phrase "satisfaction's guaranteed" suggests that the singer can provide the satisfaction or fulfillment the person seeks, potentially alluding to helping them escape their troubles momentarily.

The next verse explores the idea that the more successful someone appears to be, the greater the fall when their true struggles are exposed. The singer suggests that the person may be fooling others with their outward appearance, drawing attention when they enter a room. However, beneath the surface, they hide the truth of their situation. The verse conveys a sense that once they have experienced a taste of success, they fear losing it all and become trapped in a cycle where they have too much to lose.

The bridge speaks directly to the person, cautioning them about the consequences of their actions. It urges them to let the feeling of addiction burn into the back of their mind, implying that they should remember the pain it causes. The lyrics suggest that the person should learn from their mistakes and not rely on the singer for support when they have exhausted all other options. The phrase "let it burn" implies that the person needs to face the consequences of their actions themselves.

The final verse touches on the theme of addiction, acknowledging it as a dirty word. It highlights the irony of the person's situation, being described as lovely but marred by addiction. The singer suggests that this person's circumstances may not matter to them, implying that they may be detached or desensitized to the struggles of addiction. This verse emphasizes the potential detachment or indifference of the singer, posing a contrast to the previous verses' empathetic tone.

Overall, "Satisfaction" explores the complexities of individuals struggling with hidden pain and addiction while also emphasizing the singer's willingness to provide support and meet their needs without judgment. The song portrays a world where appearances can deceive, success can lead to fear of losing it all, and addiction can have severe consequences.

I really get triggered when technicians just click the top off with a needle or blade. And ignore the deeper core of the blackhead. They should all watch this - it’s a great example of how to do it properly. Thank you for sharing.

@susewambold8175

Ha ha…triggered?!

@XxXShevampXxX

Omg YES. It's so frustrating to watch. They'll extract the hard plug of oxidized material and just move on without even a quick perfunctory squeeze to get out the soft material that was underneath. Which means that soft material goes on to oxidize and form a hard little plug itself and the whole cycle starts over again.

@VAHOSS

Most techs are smart enough to enlarge the pore....instead punishing the clients face with ridiculous and unnecessary squeezing
