I remember when my mom told me(+my siblings) a story from years ago when she rented this movie and thought it was a kid friendly movie because of how to cover looked but ended up not being one and my siblings were screaming and crying, but I ( and my lil brother)was to young to understand that much

Wait but didn't they leave the loop to bring him there in the first place?
I know she can control time but how did she create a loop without affecting the rest of the world? Cause in their loop Abe is there and alive but in the real world, he died so did he end up leaving the loop? And if they are in a loop how is victor still dead?

Time travel shit always confuses me definitely when I'm not actually watching the movie but just watching recaps of it.

The movie isn’t faithful to the books at all. I understand that the books were still coming out (the series ended back in 2021) but they should have done it the way Harry Potter did it: gracefully, with each book having a movie dedicated to it, to fully articulate what is going on in the story. The movie mixes several books together, and ultimately is unrecognizable apart from he characters names. In the books, Emma hd fire powers and Olive grew plants. The little girl who floated was Fiona. Besides that all the characters were practically the same.

olive was the one who could float and fiona was the one who could manipulate plants. olive was also a little girl which is weird that they made enoch and her a couple. the original other couple who was hugh (bees) and fiona made much more sense as well given that their peculiarities are complementary. while the movie is objectively good, i hate how they completely altered it from the books too. it took away so much of the world building riggs detailed. 🫤🫤🫤

The powers were totally absurd, so calling them recessive genetics was equally absurd. The movie should have gone full dreamscape fantasy.

Actually it's not explained that properly in the movie. In fact the movie covers only half of the first book. You should read the book in order to understand the lore. I have read it & liked it very much. Though I'm unsure you will like it or not, but still you should give it a read if possible.

She didn’t say “age rapidly” but “shortly”. And according to the book it would take 2-3 days of being outside of a time loop before their age accelerates to account for every single day they had lived within the loop. So in the movie they raise that ship and sail off to enter a new time loop where they rescue Miss Peregrine.
