I am pursuing a greater purpose and seeking to be closer to God.

Placed on this earth but I am not of it
I am in this world, but I do not subscribe to its values and beliefs.

While I may never fully reach God, I will continue to make strides towards Him until the end of my life.

Life, life, man its full of voices, its full of choices, and its full of noises
Life is complicated and full of distractions, causing people to stray from the right path.

Satins voice can be boisterous, and poisonous
Temptation can be alluring and destructive if given too much power.

And quietly destroying us, It's crippling
Temptation can slowly and subtly break a person down, leading them away from their faith.

He knows its hard to run, if its hard to walk
It is difficult to make significant progress if one cannot take the first steps.

And he knows it's hard to walk, when you're limping
When life has beaten someone down, it can be difficult to find the strength to keep moving forward.

And i cant trust you lust, you're real tempting
Desires that go against my faith are enticing, but ultimately destructive.

I put my trust in money, I'm still emptying
Pursuing wealth and material possessions will not bring true happiness or fulfillment.

I put my faith in her and she let me down
Dependence on another person will often end in disappointment or betrayal.

I put my faith in him and he just let me drown
Similarly, expecting a person to provide guidance or help in every situation can be unrealistic and harmful.

I put my faith in them, they packed up, left town
Relying solely on social affiliations can ultimately leave one feeling abandoned and helpless.

I put my faith in sin and you just left me bound
Sinful behavior and attitudes can lead to addiction and enslavement.

And so I'm left now, yeah i was left there, way out in left field, scared
Feeling alone, misunderstood, and disconnected can be a frightening and isolating experience.

I ran to you world and you turned your back
The world will often abandon or disappoint those who rely on it for fulfillment or happiness.

So now I'm running to you Lord and it ain't no turning BACK
In response to this disappointment, I am turning to God and will not abandon my faith again.

Can't stop now, not now, gotta get back up when i get knocked down
I will continue to persevere even when faced with obstacles or failures.

Only time i can stand still and stand around is when i stand my ground
The only time to stay still is when standing up for one's beliefs and values.

But now the light is green, lord you're the only light I'm seeing
God's guidance and love are the only things leading me forward in a positive direction.

So God Ima chase you like storm chasers chase lightening beams
I am pursuing a deeper connection with God with the same intensity as storm chasers pursuing their passions.

Real life could be like a dream
Life can become surreal when living out one's faith and pursuing God's will.

Wake up to a nightmare
If one turns away from their faith, life can become unbearable and feel like a nightmare.

When you're running after idol things
Life becomes unfulfilling when chasing after superficial or meaningless things.

Missing what was right there
By focusing on these temporary things, people can miss the deeper and more permanent joys in life.

But God was right there
Despite this, God is always present and waiting for people to turn towards Him.

Wiping tears
God is a source of comfort and can bring relief from emotional pain.

Smiting fears
God can provide strength and courage to overcome one's fears and anxieties.

Beaming light when the night was near
In the darkest times, God can provide guidance and hope to light the way forward.

Turning dark times into brighter years
God can take seemingly hopeless situations and turn them into opportunities for growth and redemption.

This is a higher calling, so why should I be crawling
Pursuing God's will is a noble and worthwhile endeavor, so there's no reason to settle for less.

Why should I be falling and just barely walking
In the face of obstacles and temptations, it can be difficult to maintain faith and stay on the right path.

Lets pick the pace up, its time to lace up, and wake up
It's time to recommit to pursuing God's will and living out one's faith with increased intensity.

And escape from satin, he hates us
In order to stay on the right path, it's important to avoid temptation and anything that would lead one away from God.

He's tryna chain us and slave us, but we ignore the signs
Satan will try to enslave us with destructive behaviors and beliefs, but we must recognize these tactics and resist them.

He wanna take over the mind, but he wont take over mine
Satan cannot control or possess someone's mind if they are resolute in their faith and committed to resisting temptation.

I'll run forever cause my forever is on the line
I will continue to pursue my faith and my calling because my eternal life and relationship with God are dependent on it.

Forever I'll run to the God who reigns over time
I will always commit to the pursuit of God and His will, recognizing that He is the ultimate authority over all things and all time.

God I'm running for you healing
In my pursuit of God, I am seeking spiritual renewal and restoration.

I'm running for you shielding
I am relying on God's protection and guidance to keep me on the right path.

I'm running for you children
I am living my life with the goal of glorifying God and setting an example for others, particularly younger generations.

I'm running for your grace
Above all else, I am seeking God's love and forgiveness, recognizing His infinite grace.

I'm running for your arms
I am seeking comfort and support from God as I navigate life's challenges.

I'm running for your palms
I am placing my life and my struggles in God's hands, trusting that He will guide me forward.

I am living my life and pursuing my faith with the intention of pleasing God.
