Originally a Cliff Richard & The Shadows inspired band , but quickly the new English Liverpool currents in the repertoire . Both Møllgård as Skårup was previously musicians and Electro Swingers was initially among the musically talented Danish rock bands , including experimented group early with echo machines and audio filters . The core Møllgård , B. Andersen , Skårup and Visholt amounted Electro Swingers - with changing drummers , including
Gerd ' Bjuti ' Madsen and Irving Waldorf. In 1965 replaced Visholt Bent Lyman ( lead-vo ) and Electro Swingers put the music into a more soul influenced style. Recorded in the spring of 1967 (1.2 ) , where Birger Jensen ( dm ) starred . In late 1967 Lyman was replaced by Benny Rasmussen ( lead-vo , org . ) . Electro Swingers played as one of the first rock bands in Nyhavn and played in the early years on a regular basis , inter alia, Skipperkroen , Nyhavn 41 and Cape Horn . Was in 1966 house band in Jomfruburet .
In 1970 the orchestra was reorganized with the following members:

With this crew group played often in Valhalla , Place Pigalle , and save 2 Bakken . Krudthuset and Dancetten in Tivoli, as well as in the major music mecca Le Carrousel where Electro Swingers actually later was the house band at the nightclub Blue Heaven for more than a year.
Recorded one Danish pop inspired album with this crew 'My little farm ' and ' Bimbimmelim ' without, however, the band was a Danish pop band , but still had a hard playing band with roots firmly planted in guitar rock sixties music. Electro Swingers laid stylistically into country music in 1976 but ceased to play in public shortly after for a while.

With René Hansen joined the Electro Swingers (formerly groups Griff , Hiber and Handshakes ) was the style more hard-hitting and rocket , inspired from the group Handshake René Hansen and Per Bernhard Hansen had just played together . Electro Swingers played now not only sixties rock, but also tracks with 80's style with several original compositions written by Per Bernhard Hansen ( 1955) , which was one of the band's three brothers ( brother of René Hansen (b. 1956) and Bjarne Abel ( 1947) . crew played 3-4 years before another break materialize in 1987. , the three brothers Per, René and Bjarne formed immediately here after the trio brothers Bros brothers with the same repertoire as Electro Swingers , and the trio had several jobs in half years of existence.
Electro Swingers started up again a few years later in 1990 with the same crew as the previous but with new drummer Mogens Frederiksen. It was only played clean 60érmusik , and the band had with this crew its musical best time of many jobs and good press coverage. The band ran on revivalstilen which all appeared in one's jackets with the old conductor as the conductor who led baton . The last years towards the resolution in 1994 that the band tried unsuccessfully to regain shape with changing drummers, and it definitely closed down again in 1994 after 34 years in the music scenes in primarily the Copenhagen area.
Electro Swingers exists today only as a hobby , and is occasionally dusted off , the band's recurring figure since 1960 Ebbe Møllgård by small private events with changing crews , but without the three brothers' involvement.
The brothers Per Bernhard and Bjarne Abel continued after the dissolution in 1994 Pink Cadillac that after a few years became a duo consisting of the two brothers. Pink Cadillac is today in 2008 is still active , with many jobs in hotels , clubs and private events. The third brother René Brohammer Hansen stopped in a band context as Electro Swingers stopped in 1994.
