This movie was hilarious. It's so weird how critics basically hate all comedy now and always give movies like this a bad review. But Lauren Lapkus puts in one of the most insane and hilarious performances ever put to film. I would love to see her in more comedies like this.

Simply Free I just went with it. I loved the over the top bat shit crazy things they did. I was high as hell but this was a funny movie. They don’t care about telling a story. It’s look at these cameos and jokes we have. Really enjoyed it.

Not all movies are Oscar material. We genuinely need movies like this. We don't need a serious plot, just good physical comedy and corny jokes. Lauren was so freaking funny. Watched it a couple of times and it's never boring, pure fun. People that gave this movie anything below 6* on IMDb are the ones that think Joker, Prometheus, Dune and Super 8 were the best movies ever. New age type of movies, no food convos, no logic, just hype and good CGI. Kids that didn't grow up on Adam Sandler's, David Spade's, Rob Schnaider's type of movies. This movie deserves nothing less than 6.5* on IMDb.

Lauren Lapkus plays Missy. I've seen her perform improv countless times at UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade) and she's exceptional. Very smart and very funny. In a field of talent, her star shines bright.

I love david spade and this whole 90s snl crew when they do movies together. I was super excited about this because they're amazingly talented comedians. I knew it would be a little over the top on the sexualization and vulgarity. I liked the twist ending and how it turned out differently then I thought it would but getting to that point was hard. It was like good beginning good ending. The middle was way too much for me. I feel like they could have made her look crazy without making her look like a weird sex addict. Like it tried way to hard to make this cheap and if they cleaned it up a little it could have been a great nostalgic movie. They all are so talented but I feel like this was trying to hard to forcibly create a storyline that would never ever fly in our culture today. So it came off as disgusting. Where it wanted to be more slapstick comedy, with a nice story in there about someone you wanted nothing to do with being someone who you were meant to find out more about. They had such a nice storyline buried under the trash of nasty sexual scenes and overly trashy concepts and stupid scenes like her jumping into the ocean and missing. Like too much trash.

This movie is bonkers — not all the jokes fly, and it’s cringe at times, but I have to say it had its moments and made me laugh (at times) which is rare for movies these days.
And the actress who plays Missy makes the movie! She is excellent. OTT at times but you warm to her character.

Weird film. Unexpected .... Definately worth a watch.
