Featuring Leila Moss and Thorunn Antonia
Verse 1:
It all gets late, a spiritual lane
Of visions in the way
I’m watching them pray
Visions of the way
I watch them all change
I’m watching as they ṗray
Chorus:
It’s never too late
It’s never too late
It’s never too late
To throw it all away
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
To throw it all away
Yeah
Verse 2:
The lovers, they wait
To decide the faith,
Well what can I say?
It’s never too late
What’s it’s gonna take
To disguise the faith?
What can I say?
Chorus:
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
To throw it all away
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
To throw it all away
Yeah
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
It’s never too late
(never too late, never)
To throw it all away
Visions of the way
(never too late, never)
Visions of the way
(never too late, never)
Visions of the way
(never too late, never)
To throw it all away
Yeah, yeah
The song "Never Too Late" by thenewno2 featuring Leila Moss and Thorunn Antonia is about the constant desire for change and growth, no matter what stage of life you're in. The lyricist is observing people in their spiritual lane, praying and changing, and reflecting on how it's never too late to make a change in your life. The chorus drives this message home, repeating that "it's never too late to throw it all away," meaning that it's never too late to let go of your old ways and start fresh.
In the second verse, the lyricist mentions lovers who are waiting to decide their fate and questions what it will take for them to change. This could be interpreted as a call to action for these lovers to take control of their lives and make the changes necessary to be happy. The repeated phrase "what can I say?" adds a touch of uncertainty and vulnerability to the overall message of the song, emphasizing that making big changes can be scary and uncertain.
Overall, "Never Too Late" promotes self-reflection and the idea that it's never too late to start over and create the life you want for yourself. It encourages taking risks and embracing change, even if it feels uncomfortable at first.

First time I heard it was when I watched the movie. I was entranced by it! Finally found it by searching for Beautiful Creatures soundtrack. Even then this cut wasn't on some of the lists. And yes, it was worth the search for myself as well.

Beautiful, just beautiful. The back and forth of the two voices singing Never too late, sounds as if they are coming from two separate Spiritual Realms. I am sure George is smiling. I am.
