I like a good beer buzz, early in the morning
Early in the morning, I prefer the buzz that comes from drinking good beer

Billy likes to peal the labels from his bottles of bud
Billy enjoys taking the labels off his Budweiser bottles

He shreds them on the bar then he lights up every match
Afterwards, he rips the labels apart on the bar and lights each match in a large pack of matches

In an over-sized pack letting each one burn
His pack of matches is sizeable and he allows each one to burn

Down to his thick fingers before blowing and
Until the flame is barely touching his thick fingers, he blows the match out

Cursing them out, he's watching
He scolds the matchsticks and continues to watch them

The bottles of bud as they spin on the floor
His attention shifts to the Budweiser bottles as they twirl on the floor

And a happy couple enters the bar
At this point, a joyful pair walks into the tavern

Dangerously, close to one another
They are in close proximity, to the point of it being dangerous

The bartender looks up from his want ads
The bartender diverts his attention from his classified ads

Otherwise the bar is ours, the day and the night
When they leave, the bar is ours for the rest of the day and night

And the car wash, too, the matches and the
Also, we have the car wash, matches, and

Buds, and the clean and dirty cars
Budweiser cans and both clean and dirty cars

The sun and the moon ,
In addition to the celestial bodies, the sun and moon, as well.

I got a feeling the party has just begun
I believe the celebration has only just begun
