Uh, everything 'bout this shit come down to real life
Yeah, if you gon' pop that Perc, you 'bout that pill life
Yeah, I stack this money so high, had this shit lookin' real nice
Yeah, tell me what it feel like
I went and flood my red light, I went and flooded the coupe, yeah
Heard you want back like PEZ
I stack it up all ways, huh
Some money, big money, small money
I got the bitch out the back off lead
I can't even fuck with the same
they're a motherfuckin' rat, they're a motherfuckin' fed
Why they all tryna be inside my business? I'm just tryna get me that bread
I don't give a fuck what they say, you a boy or a girl, you get left on read
I don't give a shit what you sayin', you a goddamn rat (ayy)
Yeah, I like the coupe with the blade and the Benz all black (ayy)
Yeah, I got a blick with the teeth and it bite down back (ayy)
(Yeah, that's right that coupe with the Benz all black, yeah-yeah)
Uh, everything 'bout this shit come down to real life
Yeah, if you gon' pop that Perc, you 'bout that pill life
Yeah, I stack this money so high, had this shit lookin' real nice
Yeah, tell me what it feel like
I went and flood my red light, I went and flooded the coupe, yeah
I'm on the phone with my red eye, I couldn't even tell you the truth
Heard you want back like PEZ
I stack it up all ways, huh
Some money, big money, small money
I got the bitch out the back off lead
I can't even fuck with the same
they're a motherfuckin' rat, they're a motherfuckin' fed
Why they all tryna be inside my business? I'm just tryna get me that bread
I don't give a fuck what they say, you a boy or a girl, you get left on read
You a goddamn rat, ayy
And the Benz all black, ayy
Bite down back, ayy
Yeah, that's right that coupe with the Benz all black, yeah
In these lyrics, Yeat reflects on various aspects of his life and mindset. The repeated phrase "everything 'bout this shit come down to real life" suggests that he is grounded in reality and values authenticity. He criticizes those who use drugs, specifically mentioning popping Percocet, and associates it with a certain lifestyle or identity. Yeat emphasizes the pursuit of money, describing how he stacks it up high, making things look "real nice." However, he also questions what it truly feels like to have that level of wealth and material success.
Yeat mentions flooding his red light and flooding his coupe, illustrating his lavish lifestyle and the indulgence in luxury. The mention of being on the phone with his "red eye" suggests a potential reference to a drug-induced state, where he is unable to be truthful or transparent. The statement about someone wanting back like a PEZ is unclear, but it may imply that someone wants to re-enter his life after being absent or detached.
The lyrics continue to highlight Yeat's ability to accumulate different forms of money, big or small. He portrays himself as someone who can easily acquire wealth and is not limited by conventional means. He distances himself from individuals he perceives as rats (snitches or informants) or feds (law enforcement agents) who infiltrate his personal affairs. Yeat expresses his focus on obtaining bread (money) and dismisses the opinions and gender of others, asserting that they will be ignored if they try to interfere.
The second half of the lyrics reiterate the key themes presented previously. Yeat emphasizes his disdain for individuals he perceives as rats, reinforces the image of his all-black Benz coupe, and mentions his blick (gun) with teeth that can bite down. These lines further express his defiance and aggression towards those he believes to be dishonest or disloyal.
Overall, these lyrics depict Yeat's emphasis on realness, the pursuit of wealth, and his aversion to those he deems untrustworthy. They present a glimpse into his mindset, reflecting his experiences and perspectives within the contexts of drugs, money, and personal relationships.
