Do you think sub rmp is viable? I keep trying to get my buddies to play it but idk what mage spec or healer haha

I think it is to an extent, I'm sure the best of the best could push it to R1. And it's definitely glad viable. If you're going to be playing with a priest then I would suggest fire/disc. Frost/disc works too but it lacks dmg. I think if you want the best combination for rogue/mage/x in 3s then currently it's most likely assa/fire/hpal.

I've pretty much been playing rogue for 10 years, but I only knew what I was actually doing in the start of mop. Arenas I started in mop too. So, ALOT.

I would like to get back into rogue, particularly Sub, any chance you can give me a basic rotation to build upon? I would appreciate it (for pvp and pve)

Pve is simple. 100% nightblade uptime, every symbols of death you should use 1 or 2 shadow dances and do as many shadowstrikes and eviscerates as possible. Then wait and do it again. For pvp however it's not as simple as having a rotation. The best advice I can give you is that there is no such thing, only priorities. And for sub you're not really going to be training one target while trying to do maximum dps, youl'll most likely be doing several "goes" with CDs instead. So, let's say you're doing a "go" on someone. Think of it like this A) Is the target stunned? B) Does he have a nightblade up? C) Is the healer CCd? D) Is the offtarget CCd? E) Do they need to be CCd in the first place? You need a kind of thought process like this. This priorities list obviously change over time and can do so in a just second if a CD has been used by the enemy team. It's too indepth for me to go through in a comment like this. I hope you're able understand what I'm saying and my point. If you really want to just do DMG in pvp then it's technically the same as the pve rotation. You don't really do much til you have symbols of death and a shadow dance charge, and everything you do, do, while waiting for symbols and a shadow dance should be done in order to make the symbols and dance use more effective and worthwhile.

For arena its all about settiing up "goes" for your team. While you arent doing a big go then all you should be doing is preparing for the next one. Thats the best basic advice I can give, if you want to know specific stuff then ask away!
