Greeicy's song "Ya Para Qué" is about a woman who has moved on from a past relationship and is confronted by her ex-lover who wants to reconcile. The lyrics speak to the singer's frustration that the ex-partner is only showing interest in her again after she has already moved on. The opening lines, "Qué haces llamando, Qué te hizo buscarme," express the musician's confusion and annoyance at her ex's sudden reappearance in her life.
The song is sung in Spanish and features a catchy reggaeton beat. Greeicy's voice is smooth and sultry, and her vocal runs and ad-libs add depth and emotion to the song. The refrain, "Si ya te olvidé, qué vienes hacer, Has vuelto muy tarde, tu amor ya para qué" translates as "If I've already forgotten you, what are you doing here? You're too late, your love is useless now," and is a powerful statement of the singer's resolve to move on.
Throughout the song, Greeicy is empowered in her decision to leave the relationship behind and embrace a new chapter in her life. She acknowledges that her ex-partner was the cause of wasted time, and that she is better off without him. The song's final line, "Tú fuiste el único culpable del tiempo perdido," which means "You were the only one responsible for the lost time," reinforces the message of the singer's self-assuredness and confidence.
