Since then she has released three albums along with multiple singles in the Christian music genera. In 2006, Joy signed a publishing contract as a top line songwriter at Warner/Chappell Music. She has since then written and co-written quite a few songs for other developing and established artists and producers. Recently, she and her husband have started their own recording company called Sensibility Music, with Joy Williams being the flagship artist. And now, after over 3 years from the release of her last album Genesis, she has released a new EP named One of Those Days featuring four brand new songs written and co-written by Joy Williams. The four songs on her EP are quite different in style compared to her previous albums. The songs can be classified in the Pop/Indie/Alternative genera. The lyrics, while not as direct in expressing her Christian faith as in her previous albums, still allude to her faith through some subtle lines. For example, from the song Charmed Life, there's a line that says: "It's plain to see what we got is color in a world of black and white. Don't even let it fool you. We got everything we need." The first song, One of Those Days is surprisingly catchy and fun with an upbeat rhythm even though the song talks about having one of those bad days. The second song on the list, What Can I do (But Love You), has a sort of Bluesy swing feel to it. The third song, Charmed Life, has a very similar feel to a few of Erin McCarley's songs, specifically the song Love, Save the Empty. The last song on this playlist, I'm Gonna Break Your Heart, tells about a situation where you know you need to confess something to the one you love but at the same time you know that if you do tell what you did, you'd break that person's heart. The song is a quiet and contemplative piece and I think is a fitting way to end this excellent EP.
