DJ S
on looking for yourself
Endless highways are calling after me
The world is a strange place when you’re only seventeen
Feeling like a loser who never gave love a chance
Trapped in my own prison just because I didn’t understand
(Chorus)
No matter where you run
No matter where you hide
The very thing you’re running from is buried deep inside
No matter who you ask
No matter who you tell
It’s a lonely road you’re walking on when you’re looking for yourself
Cars pass me by, I can’t get a ride
I guess it doesn’t matter there’s no map I’m going by
A game of the mind and partly circumstance
Refuse to pay the fiddler but I cry when I can’t dance
(Chorus)
No matter where you run
No matter where you hide
The very thing you’re running from is buried deep inside
No matter who you ask
No matter who you tell
It’s a lonely road you’re walking on when you’re looking for yourself
No matter where you run
No matter where you hide
The very thing you’re running from is buried deep inside
No matter who you ask
No matter who you tell
It’s a lonely road you’re walking on when you’re looking for yourself
It’s a lonely road you’re walking on when you’re looking for yourself
