Mikirurka lineup expanded in 2007 when drummer Mat Buffalo and guitarist Wujek Drut joined Warszawski's solo effort. In 2008, bass player Basik joined the band.
In April 2009 Mikirurka recorded a three-track EP at Studio Centrum in Krakow, Poland titled 'Vol. 1', which was produced by Greg Toma who shortly after joined the band as a guitarist.
In June 2009 the band recorded a follow-up 5-track EP tiltled 'Vol. 2'.
In October 2010 Mikirurka released their long expected full-length debut album titled "I Hate You Rock'n'Roll".
'Mikirurka' is actually a play on words, a tribute to American actor Mickey Rourke.
The band’s philosophy can be expressed with only a few words - keep it simple, keep it energetic, and keep it rocking!
