The band has described the album as "the soundtrack for the end of the world". Despite receiving positive reviews, and the single "Bleeder" reaching No. 32 on U.S. Mainstream Rock, the album was not commercially successful, only selling 87,000 copies in the US.

Nothingface Lyrics
American Love I push myself in first I'm here to wait for all…
Bleeder It's not ending What's it to you Isolate me Feel unsure Tire…
Blue Skin I got my green eyes I got my glass high I got…
Can't Wait For Violence You know You say that you'd be satisfied But it's all right …
Dead Like Me I realize time's ticking by Change what I am This way I…
Everlasting Godstopper Today I set aside a friend But still I wait for…
Filthy Do you trust me? Do you trust me? Do you want this…
For All The Sin I can't feel this way today And I said that I…
Hidden Hands I saw it all A piece in games It sets in slow…
Make Your Own Bones I know you're innocent no more You'll see in time that…
Piss And Vinegar As if the word was ending Things seem to spin uncontrolled …
Same Solution Before this starts I just want to tell you That you could…
