A more detailed history of the band will be posted at some point, but i probably won't get to it for awhile. Basically, we were all friends who lived in the North End of Seattle in the early 90’s and wanted to start some kind of sociopolitical-vegan-sober-hardcore punk band. We’ve all gone in different directions since those days, but there was a blast of inspiration at the start of it all that carried us for several years and still holds a very special place in my heart.
We played a ton of shows with many of the hardcore bands of that time and had a lot of fun in general. We played up and down the West Coast a couple times and attempted a somewhat ill-fated tour with Bloodlet around the East Coast. By which I mean, we toured our way to Florida, 17 shows were cancelled and then we drove back. It was a little disheartening, but we had a great time nonetheless.
By the end of 1995 things were changing and we were beginning to move in different directions. We played a final show at the Velvet Elvis on December 6th 1995 and that was it. Though we’ve all remained great friends, we’ve been busy with so many different music projects and separated by so much distance that a reunion show has never been possible. Finally, as of October 2009, we're getting together to play a couple shows and record the songs we never got around to recording back in the day. I'm not sure what we'll do with the recordings, but i'll post info here when the time comes.
In the meantime, here are some of the projects we've been involved in over the years: Saint James Infirmary, The Criminals, Himsa, One Time Angels, Everything Went Black, The Fall-Outs, Nothing Left, Red Rocket, The Arid Sea, The Action Suits, Dempsy, Time in Malta, 2 Minutes Hate.
In the months to come I’ll add more pictures, songs, stories and whatever other crap I can dig up, so check back if you’re interested.
