1) BINGO! — Moscow based group, performing hot neo-billy, mix of be-bop, rock'n'roll, swing, jazz, and surf music. Name of this group came from popular american game - gambling "lotto" , where sharer, who had first filled up all lucky digits, shout out - "Bingo!". This expression became like a symbol of fortune and success. Relaxedness on live gigs, courage to shape the repertoire, and unusual for russian rockabilly fact of using russian lyrics, it's just a few points which made this band well known and popular for the wide category of the live music lovers. Actually band working on their second album , where will be 13 new tracks, originally writen by the band's leader, guitarist/vocalist - Vladimir Khoruzhy. Two tracks from this coming album already are in active rotation on provincial radio stations. Bingo! group founded in 2006. Recent members: Vladimir Horughy - lead vocal/guitar, Igor Shul'deshov - double bass/back vocal, Alexandr Smirnov - drums/back vocal. In 2007 came out their first album "Back to the Future", including 12 tracks, most of them are covers of the famous songs from the classic rock'n'roll and big swing era. Classic hits such as "Tutti Frutti", "16 tons", "Abracadabra", "U wanna be Americano", and also popular in 50's in former USSR "Promenade in Moscow", "By the Sea". Oldies, globally famous songs got new breath, unexpected arrangments, fresh grooves, positive drive in russian translation (band plans to release english version soon!). The album has been released on the eglish label "Raucous Records" and now on sale in stores of EU, Canada, Australia, USA, Japan.
