The Driver
Charles Kelley Lyrics
I'm the driver, bringing their circus to town
First one in and the last rolling out, shutting down
The up all-nighter, all the stars and sunrises I've seen
Every corn field and town in between
West to east
Oh, easy come easy go, yeah we rock then we roll out of town
But for now while the moment is here
Shine a light drink a beer, let's get loud
All the drivers and dreamers, believers and singers
Oh won't you sing with me now
Oh oh woah, oh
Oh oh-oh oh oh oh
I'm the dreamer, soaking up every line
Searching for truth all the time, oh yeah
The believer, that music can save a soul
The one who's at every show in the front row, singin'
Oh, easy come easy go, yeah we rock then we roll out of town
But for now while the moment is here
Shine a light drink a beer, let's get loud
All the drivers and dreamers, believers and singers
Oh won't you sing with me now
Oh oh woah, oh
Oh oh-oh oh oh oh
Yeah!
Oh!
I'm the singer, pouring out all that I had
Every love song and heart break gone bad
And looking back, when I was younger
Sitting right there where you are
Sending a prayer to the highest star
And here we are
Oh here we are
Oh, easy come easy go
Yeah we rock then we roll out of town
But for now while the moment is here
Shine a light drink a beer, let's get loud
The drivers and dreamers, believers and singers
Oh won't you sing with me now
Oh oh woah, oh
Oh oh-oh oh oh oh
Oh oh woah, oh
Oh oh-oh oh oh oh

Why is there so much hatred toward Charles Kelley. If he wants his own album he can he doesn't need your permission and btw the album is fantastic and you should give Charles the respect he deserves and also check out his album

@David Hays by all means. But when there has been direct bull shit actions that involves people's and there lives in a unproductive way. Then the proper actions have to be taken so it does not happen again. There is a reason why so many do not like him. I like his tone, I like the melody, but there is a few things that are getting looked into. Say it how you would like. I'm glad you like this song. Fucking dick head.
David Hays
@Nick Rusk I CAST NO STONES, IN OTHER WORDS I DON'T JUDGE ANYONE AND NO I DON'T KNOW THE HISTORY BEHIND IT NOR ABOUT HIS FAMILY NOR DO I CARE ABOUT WHAT HIM OR HIS FAMILY MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE DONE THAT IS NOT MY JOB TO JUDGE HIM OR HIS FAMILY AND MIND MY LANGUAGE BUT I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ANY RUMORS ABOUT HIM OR HIS FAMILY BUT I FEEL IF HE WANTS TO WORK ON A SOLO ALBUM THEN SO BE IT I WILL SUPPORT HIM TO THE VERY END AND JUST BECAUSE HIS FAMILY MAY HAVE ACTED LIKE A BUNCH OF FUCKING IDIOTS IN THE PAST THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHARLES IF HIS FAMILY ACTED STUPID IN THE PAST THEN THAT IS ALL ON THEM DON'T LET THEIR STUPIDITY REFLECT ON CHARLES. IT'S IN THE PAST LEAVE IT THERE AGAIN PLEASE FORGIVE MY FOUL LANGUAGE. AND NO EVEN IF I DID KNOW ABOUT THE HISTORY BEHIND IT OR HIS FAMILY I STILL WOULDN'T JUDGE HIM OR AS YOU SAID "THINK DIFFERENTLY" OF HIM OR HIS MUSIC BUT AGAIN IF HE WANTS TO WORK ON A SOLO PROJECT THEN GOD BLESS HIM I SAY LET HIM GO FOR IT.
Nick Rusk
@David Hays if you new the history behind it and his relatives that play a role in extremely unfair and unconstitutional decisions and the root of ware it comes from. You would think differently. It could be or it may not be. But as investigations go on the truth will come out. I hope it's not what it really could be. Because if it is. His hind end is going to get suid to poverty.

So many songs come to radio that make one wonder if country music lost it's way. Then this comes out and restores my faith that they still make great country music. Great harmonies.

Joshua Nelson 100% agreed fellow Josh. I grew up in the same artusts and would gladly include this among my regard for them.

+chanyeolseemysoul (i AM multi-fandom) You're an exo fan too? That's cool! I'm going to countryfest today but I'm a huge fan of kpop😀
Joshua Nelson
totally agree. Most are getting more pop then country and it's fine but this is country to me. Growing up with Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn and Garth Brooks. This is country. Love his solo so far and love Lady A. If you love one at least respect the other in my opinion
