Bailey embarked on her music career during the summer following her freshman year of college. She commenced her musical journey with her debut single titled "Loving & Losing" in 2020, and her inaugural album "(i would have followed you)" was released during her junior year in 2022.
Seeking a more intimate and personal project, she made the decision during her senior year to independently write, record, and produce her next endeavor. This resulted in the creation of the "What We Leave Behind" EP in 2023, a collection of five songs that delve into her sentiments about Indiana, a place she both loved and had reservations about.
The inspiration for this EP stemmed from her imminent move out of state, marking the first time she would reside outside Indiana. Recording took place in her hometown, where Bailey used a microphone connected to her phone, set up on a cardboard box in her bedroom. "What We Leave Behind" was officially released on July 26, 2023, coinciding with her relocation to Chicago.
Bailey has recently announced her inaugural mini solo tour, commencing in September, with planned stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles. This tour marks a significant step in her evolving music career.
