Da literatura vampiresca até influências musicais mais recentes, como o pós-punk revival, é criada a atmosfera soturna na qual a Drowned Men finca suas raízes cinzas e sombrias.
É ponto pacífico entre os integrantes a influência dos cânones do gênero, entre eles: Bauhaus, Echo and The Bunnymen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure e ainda bandas nacionais como o Legião Urbana e o Ira, que bebem diretamente na fonte do punk e do pós-punk.
No primeiro ano após sua estreia nos palcos de Belo Horizonte, a banda mineira Drowned Men dá um mergulho ainda mais profundo nas águas do post-punk com o lançamento de seu primeiro disco cheio: BATS. O lançamento – debut pela Howlin’ Records – revela uma identidade mais definida e um grupo cada vez mais coeso, musicalmente e pessoalmente.
Com sua formação atual – Adriano Bê (Vocais), Adriano JS (Baixo), Gabriel Martins (Bateria), Joey Blasmain (Guitarra) e John Silva (Guitarra/Backing Vocal) – a banda se prepara para a sua turnê de lançamento, tão logo o fim do isolamento social permita que os artistas de todo o país retomem suas atividades.
