1) Kimotion is a French electronic duo formed by two multi-instrumentalist brothers Andy and Charlie Nguyen Kim, writing original, powerful and sophisticated pop songs. From a young age, brothers Andy and Charlie were introduced to the different worlds of sound by their father, who taught them guitar, bass, keyboard and drums.
Their first act was called Butterfly – a rock band with Andy playing the drums and Charlie as the frontman, playing guitar and singing. Wider success came for the Nguyen Kim brothers with their second act, Shaolin. Their music was built upon a diverse blend of trip hop, electro and hip hop and resulted in a stark departure from their previous projects.
2009 led to the brothers' musical identity changing again, this time under new moniker, The Kim. Fully realising their chemistry onstage, Charlie and Andy broke away from a typical band format and started to perform as a duo, with their folk-pop guise giving them room to embrace their Vietnamese and French heritage for the first time. The project was a huge success, seeing them sign to Warner in 2012 to form the blueprint for what would later become Kimotion.
After deciding to name their new project Kimotion, the duo played on the impact that their fusion of styles would ultimately have on the electronic music world. In the summer of 2016, the Ushuaïa Ibiza Club asked the two brothers to support some of the greatest electronic artists of all time such as Avicii, Robin Schulz, David Guetta, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, and Oliver Heldens.
Since then, Andy and Charlie have released their first EP « Once We Can Fly ». After the success of their first single "Once We Can Fly" featuring then fifteen-year-old Instagram singer Carly Gibert that cumulated more than 6 million streams, has revealed a second single "Over That Girl" featuring Carly Gibert and the Californian singer and producer Adrian McKinnon, a powerful pop track with modern urban influences.

2) Kimotion is an ensemble of Kimo Williams, an American composer, musician and proffesor, also known from Lt. Dan Band.
In 1991 he released his first album “War Stories” on his label Little Beck Music. This album featured his original compositions performed by his thirty-member Kimotion ensemble, which included Michael Stern, Vinnie Colauita, Victor Bailey, and others. He released his second Kimotion CD, “Tracking” in November 2001. It also included drummer Vinnie Colaiuta (formerly with Sting) and Tenor saxophonist Michael Brecker among others.
