After spending several years as a television presenter and also raising her kids, Louise returned to the world of music in 2019 with "Stretch", her first single in 16 years. Followed by its accompanying studio album in 2020, Louise released the well-received Heavy Love, which she promoted with a UK tour.
2. Originally knows as Kraal and then as Pavlov's Dogs, Sutton, United Kingdom-based band Louise comprised lead singer Bob Chudley, lead guitarist Tony Durant, bassist Nigel Smith and drummer Chris Cutler. They were regulars on the London psychedelic beat and rock scene of 1967. They were a live band more than anything else, they never had a recording contract and never officially released anything at the time. However, some of their recordings, including the song 'Toymaker's Shop', were released many decades later on compilations of sixties rarities.

Stuck In The Middle With You
Louise Lyrics
Well I don't know
Why I came here tonight
I got the feeling that
Something ain't right
I'm so scared in case
I fall off my chair
And I'm wondering
How I'll get down the stairs
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you
Yes I am stuck in
The middle with you
And I'm wondering
What it is
I should do
It's so hard to keep
This smile from my face
Losing control
Yeah I'm all
Over the place
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you
Well you started out
With nothing
And you're proud that
You're a self made man
And your friends
They all come calling
Slap you on the back and say
Please
Please
Tried to make
Some sense at all
But I can see that
It makes no sense at all
Is it cool to go
To sleep on the floor?
You don't think
That I can take anymore
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you
Stuck in the middle
Stuck in the middle
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
(Stuck in the middle)
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
(Stuck in the middle)
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
(Oh yeah)
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you
Well you started out
With nothing
And you're proud that
You're a self made man
And your friends
They all come calling
Slap you on the back and say
Please
(I say)
Please
Well I don't know
Why I came here tonight
(Came here tonight)
I got the feeling that
Something ain't right
(Something thing
Don't feel right)
I'm so scared in case
I fall off my chair
(I am so scared)
And I'm wondering
How I'll get down the stairs
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you
Stuck in the middle with you
(Oh yeah)
Stuck in the middle of you
(Here I am)
Stuck in the middle with you
(With you, with you)

This is such a GREAT version! I ❤ the original, but this faster pace and being more upbeat is AWESOME!! PERFECT for dancing to! 😀💕

Have to admire a young woman who while very beautiful had the brains and talent to make a great career for herself and her kids

I think her hubby might have made some small contribution to the kids too...

I love Gerry Rafferty and Stealer's Wheel.....but this is no insult to them at all....she is very good!

Great cover, suits the sound she had been making, don't see anything wrong with this cover. I have the soundtrack of "Reservoir Dogs" and I like the original version too. I have no qualms about Louise with this single, she did it her own womanly way, why not?

Great cover Louise! I am such a massive fan of Stealers Wheel and their influence on 70's/80's music and have just published my own modern cover of this song paying homage to them. I would love everyone to check it out. Thanks very much and please give Louise a thumbs up for a great performance - the charts speak for themselves.

You know when a song enters your head completely randomly tears after it’s release? That. Must be about 19 years since I heard (or thought of) this.

Louise nails this classic hit🥰🙏🏻
