She made her Broadway debut rather late, in 2005 in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "The Woman in White," which was specifically written for her voice. A great performer of Sondheim, most notably originateing the roles of "Dot"/"Marie" in "Sunday in the Park with George," she has also released a solo CD and is feautred on another one of Lloyd Webber's works, "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" as the narrator on the DVD and CD Soundtrack.
