Formed in 1998 as an [art]sound art[/art] collective outfit and released the first title, the experimental dark ambient assemblage, Installation Redux in May 1999 which, however, became an solo effort in the end.
In September 1999 he published the two track 12” LuxÆterna on which he explored an even more abstract ritual-ambient/martial-industrial sound than previously.
In the summer of the following year he began recording his first piece of commissioned music; an environmental soundscape audioset for a Swedish Forestry museum. A work-in-progess copy made it to the public and ended up at the U.S. ambient radio show Star’s Ends best album of the year list.
The following year he continued to work on ideas and recorded material from the Installation Redux sessions. And on the first day of 2001 he published the double album Blackspace | Reconnaissance at the Farthest Frontier. The title has been categorized as dark space ambient; long, dark drones evolving over motionless rumble.
Since then he has mainly produced commissioned music for installations and exhibitions not intended for commercial release.
