An Israeli singer, composer and guitar player.
Emigrated to Israel at the age of 13 whhich was also the year he wrote his first song ("Como La Luna" - performed years later by Israel top singer, Rita). Idov started his professional career at the Israeli Defense Force (1969).
During the 70s Idov was a member and writer in 2 very influential Israeli bands: Ktzat Aheret" and "Tzlil Mehuvan" (both with Shem-Tov Levi)
Idov published several solo albums "Hapaam Harishona" (79), "Achsav Hazman" (85), "Holem Besfaradit" (88), "Helek Mimeni" (93), "Pratim Ktanim" (97)
His musical style is very melodic and gentle. Naturally his music contains Argentinian native elements such as Tango music. Idov is a gifted guitar player but seldom demostrates his ability in his records or performances.
