From bands like As We Fight, Road To Manila, Shaped Like Swans, A Sheltering Sky and I Am Because We Are, comes an aggresive, atmospheric, epic and hard-hitting quintet, who will surely rock the foundation of the metalscene.

The Monolith saw the light of day, when Shaped Like Swans was dissolved and the lead guitarist and vocalist chose NOT to give up, and put together a brand new band. Their goal was one and the same: They wanted to create music, that was unique and completely its own. And now, 1 year later, The Monolith is here, with some extremely powerful material, which is ready to be launched upon the masses.

The Monolith will be recording in the fall of 2013, with renowned producer Jeppe Andersson, who has worked with bands like: Amaranthe, Raunchy, Mew, Volbeat, Cold Night For Alligators and Invisius.
