Due to musical differences, David Moe decided to help out with the drums for live only.
Later then joined by Kyaw Lynn Aung (Paing Lynn Aung's brother), who just finished highschool, was dragged into the band to help out with the bass duties.
Not long after that, Paing Lynn Aung's longtime friend Okka Kyaw decided to take over the role of a lead guitarist after jamming a few times with the band.
After playing a few gigs, the band got in contact with Han Htue Lwin (Kyar Pauk) from the band Big Bag, who also runs an independent record label "Bipolarbear" from his house.
He decided to produce the band's first EP album "Amour" after hearing their demos.
The band became friends with Ye Khine Oo, who played drums for the band Tu & the Loft at that time, after playing gigs together at Jam It!
He was later brought into the band to replace David Moe in February 2018 after playing an acoustic gig at Sofar Sounds Yangon.
With a full line-up, the REASONABILISTS started recording and just released their debut digital EP album on 1st September 2018 through Bipolarbear Records. It was mixed and mastered by Phyo Min Naing (Big Bag).
the REASONABILISTS music fused many elements: the band cites The Smiths and The National as their major influences. Their upbeat and catchy riffs combined with a mix of melancholic lyrical themes brings out a certain unique vibe from the band.
