Given how (if you listen to the radio announcemnets in the background as you run about the space station/dock) messages sent back to th ehome-galaxy in Mass Effect Andromeda went consistantly unanswered, I'm guessing the Indoctrination Theory or at least To-The-Bitter-End failure is the Canon ending, regardless of what end you choose. Sad that ME A did so poorly. The whole game struck me as a shade of the original series. A ghostly echo of what might have been....and it makes me genuinely sad to know that we won't get to have a Great Return and another clash with The Reapers.
The entire original trilogy made it abundantly clear that you did not have the military might or numbers to best them. If the Protheans, who had control of the ENTIRE GALAXY were unable to stop them, and countless prior cycles all ended with failure as well, then there really was no real chance of victory as things stood. Sometimes a cycle came up with a new weapon or strategy that gave them an edge against their enemies, but a sharpened knife against a Tsunami makes little difference in the end.

if EDI was on the Normandy that just barely escaped the wave, would she be reasonably ok? or be in a hibernative state to more or less reset? just a thought. As for the geth I think they would have came up with backup plans since if you brought peace between them and the quarians they would be self aware. Also I think they knew what may happen to destroy the reapers since the reapers are somewhat like them, But they went into the fight anyways.

pfff i agree with mass effect but gears and cod? have you ever played metal gear 3, Secret of mana or Red dead redemption? that games have far better storyline than gears or cod

Never played Red Dead(want to) again, Gears of War turned more into a story come 2 and 3, it was closer to a shooter in the first one, and could never get into the Metal Gear series, tried, but I couldn't...
