The World Looks Red
Sonic Youth Lyrics

Push it away
The world looks red
People with fish eyes
The ground sucks
Walk on my fingertips
Displacing the fog
The weight of my body
Is too mush to bear
The memory drained
The life from the dull
An ocean of insects
Worked like a sheet
The immovable fact
Buried my mind
In a horse-hair coat
In a pile
On the floor

Push it away
The world looks red
People with fish eyes
The ground sucks
Walk on my fingertips
Displacing the fog
The weight of my body
Is too much to bear
The memory drained
The life from the doll
The ocean of insects
Moved like a sheet
The immovable fact
Buried my mind
In a horsehair coat
In a pile
On the floor

This song made me see a whole new world, in terms of guitars!

Bacon Man

The bacon looks red.

Cook it away
The bacon looks red
People eat fish chips
The grill sucks
Eat on my table
slicing the hog
The weight of my belly
Is too much to bear
The frier drained
The floor full of oil
An ocean of steaks
Cooked like a sheep
The immovable fat
Eating my rinds
In a huge ass plate
Picking food. from the floor.

ECHtoplasm

Swans did it better.

ceres

I'm probably biased towards Swans but The World Looks Red/The World Looks Black is definitely better. This is still good though.

Personanally, I really enjoy their drummers' sloppy styles of playing. Filth is one of my favorite albums partly because of the percussionists alone.

Joshua Allgood

I liked the loose feel of Filth. But yeah, this song is great. I don't know why you had to mention Filth when he was referring to the Glowing Man but whatever.

Bop Bop Perono

I wish their drummers on Filth weren't so sloppy. This shit grooves and the various prepared guitar tones are genius.
