DR Alain Caron;composer and bass player. To be this good took a whole lot of hard work and dedication . He was great bassist back in the 80,s with UZEB, but now he has become a composer /arranger as well. Check his big band arrangement of this song with six horns, awesome. That instrument that looks like a xylophone , is a controller, called a mallet cat.

Saw Alain & Uzeb in a small Toronto club back in '81.Maybe 30 people (including Oscar Peterson)that nite & they sold their records at the door. Mind Blowing then & still now. Very fluent players & i'm sure Al gives huge props to guys like Jaco & Stanley still to this day. Great Chops!!
