this is honestly one of the best Kpop songs ever in my opinion. the soaring melody and major/minor parallel modulation on "caught in a lie" is so intense and emotional, and makes the song truly stand out even among many other great ones. Jimin gave an amazing and heartfelt performance. The fact that he helped write it as well adds a whole other level of authenticity and makes me admire him more. It frustrates me that this song isn't more well known.

When I first heard this song I loved the beat, and Jimin sang it great like always, but this was the era where Jimin was the most depressed and where he only ate 1 meal every 10 days, I'm just glad hes better now! I’ve listened to this before and this hasn’t happened before, so maybe I’m in a weird mood but I burst into tears listening to this. I feel so suffocated yet good.. like I broke a barrier. Lifted a weight off my shoulders. I cried my heart out over everything and nothing. I don’t usually cry for things like this so it caught me by surprise, like when it starts raining on a day forecasted for clear skies. I’m honestly glad because it’s the first time in a while I cried for an emotional reason. I’ve been stuck in a weird spot in my life and I think this just helped loosen the grip allowing me to climb out. Thank you to Jimin for this beautiful song. Thank you to BTS because their music helped improve my mental health. 💜
