Who Can Be Against Me
The O.C. Supertones Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

It seems like everything I touch just falls to pieces
It seems like everyone I help just falls
And how I need someone to make me feel assured
I don't need anyone if you're on my side, Lord

And I say, hey, who can be against me?
I say, hey, who can be against me?
(No one)

No matter how hard I try I always fail, I'll never be like Christ
I know I'll struggle until the day, the very day I die
And how I need someone to make me feel assured
I don't need anyone if you're on my side, Lord

And I say, hey, who can be against me?
I say, hey, who can be against me?
(No one)

God look at me, I'm just a man
But you tell me I'm not just a man
You're so hard to understand
After all I'm just a man

God you tell me not to doubt
But I'm always plagued by doubt
And you always help me out
I'm so ashamed

God look at me, I'm just a man
But you tell me I'm not just a man
You're so hard to understand
After all I'm just a man

God you tell me not to doubt
But I'm always plagued by doubt
And you always help me out
I'm so ashamed

And I say, hey, who can be against me?
And I say, hey, who can be against me?
And I say, hey, who can be against me?
And I say, hey, who can be against me?
(No one)

@popcornkiller8

christian music from the 90s was the best. some of the best bands and singers come from that time

@kaden66

My favorite song ever. Out of everything I have ever heard, this beats it all.

@Mr3dPHD

This is by far their best song....and album for that matter. If you like this you should check out Five Iron Frenzy's first album "Upbeats and Beatdowns". Its equally awesome.

@BryanHectic

I used to be crazy into ska back in '05, I was an angsty little Christian-hating Agnostic 18 year old, but I still couldn't deny these guys' instrumental talent. SINCE THEN, I've become much more tolerant and accepting of different religions and beliefs(for the better, I'd say). But yeah, this was a blast from the past.

@kaden66

reality distorted: It's the best because I remember listening to this when I was four years old. I do listen to music. I listen to a lot of music.

@Westerngun

I love this album and this song really helps me.
