The Walk
:finn Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Time to split out my back door
Sunrise dancing on my wall
Heading down off beaten tracks
Try to get that feeling back

I could take a walk again
Up a mountain to a stream
Standing on the open rock
Looking out over the sea
Funny when we move ahead
Never worry what we leave behind
I could always find some peace
In the back of beyond

Kind voice from yesterday
Give love fill up every space
But now I laugh at simple truth
Sneer and frown like we all do

When the long night awakes
With memories a midnight feast
Feel the boy in me escape
There's a field of frost beneath my feet
Run, never tire, run boy, forever and ever

I could take a walk again
Up a mountain to a stream
Standing on the open rock
Looking out over the sea
Funny when we move ahead
Never worry what we leave behind

Remember what a friend of mine said
You gotta be kind.

Wait wait wait wait

Are you telling me he is angry bc she wanted to keep her ability to walk as a surprise?

That's her right. It isn't like she lied about not being able to walk at all.
She has every right to tell whoever whenever. This is her medical info and her business.

And it isn't like she doesn't still need to use the wheelchair most of the time.

It's like when people get mad about disabled people using wheelchairs but being able to stand for a moment to go to the bathroom or do something.
It is none of your business why someone needs to use a wheelchair and for how long they can be without it.

Finn is infuriating in this scene
He made his own decisions and needs to stop blaming people.
Quinn worked hard to start walking again. She gets to decide when and how people find out

I'm still confused. Why do they always barge into the opposite sex bathroom?

Reminds me of when Will found out Terri wasn’t pregnant. Finn looks furious.

Trinity Miller

@Stirling Archer I like Finn and Rachel there my favorites

Stirling Archer

@Trinity Miller Finn was violent, he chose football over glee when Puck, Mike and Matt chose glee, he used the f-slur, he chose his popularity over defending Kurt when every other football playing glee kid defended Kurt, he outed Santana then forced her to sing about being gay because that’s how he decided she should handle being outed against her will, he physically assaulted Quinn at the prom. Finn was manipulative, jealous, insecure and hypocritical.

Rachel was awful most of the time. She lied about a teacher inappropriately touching a student because she didn’t get a solo, she said Artie shouldn’t get the lead in a song bc he’s in a wheelchair, dropped out of Glee bc Tina got a solo, when Mercedes suggested that the glee club sing more songs by black artists Rachel’s racist self responded, 'It's glee club, not krunk club.'’ She sent a refugee to a literal crackhouse where she could have been murdered and/or raped, called Mike and Tina an insignificant part of glee, stuffed a ballot box, she acted insane when Santana landed the understudy role, she skipped her Funny Girl performance to audition for a TV pilot in LA.

When were they good people?

Trinity Miller

@Stirling Archer Finn is a good person too Rachel
