{Ohhh
yeaaa
All Over And Over
Same little Stuff
Ohh Woah}

Why you gon give me back my chain
And you ain't even gon give me
The chance to explain
It's so typical
We been here before
Ain't nuthin changed
Why you gon give me back my chain
We just been through this babe
It's just like Groundhog Day
Like yesterday
And the day before
And the day before that

You gon say that I'm a big liar
You gon say you gettin sick and tired
Ooh your trippin
Girl I'm outta here
But this is how we play
Baby its okay

Girl I wanna do it all over again
Come on lets do it like we always do
Break up and make up and break up
And then we're making up
Here we go again
Oh girl
Can we argue all over
Get jealous all over
Cuz I like gettin back with you
Baby ooh
Lets do it over and over
All Over and over again

You always wear that dress i like
On the very same day
That we just had a fight
That's so typical
We been here before
Ain't nothin changed {Ooh}
All your girls stay in our biz
It's like they know before we
When even call it quits
When you throw your fits
I get over it
I can't even get mad

You gon' say that I'm a big liar
You gon say you gettin sick and tired
Ooh your trippin
Girl I'm outta here
But this is how we play
Baby its okay

Girl I wanna do it all over again (All Over Again)
Come on lets do it like we always do (we always do)
Oh girl (Girl)
Can we argue all over (all over)
Get jealous all over (all over)
Cuz I like gettin back with you (I like gettin back with you)
Baby ooo (Baby ooo)
Lets do it over and over
Over and over again

You know I ain't gon leave
We mean too much to me
Even though we go through these changes
On the regular girl
If it was any other girl
I'll be gone like yesterday
Cause you are all i need

How come everyday your lookin to fuss
Got a young man wantin to cuss
I know you know
Got it feelin real serious
This love is real serious {serious}
You be rockin the flow
Then you come back for more
Back back fourth fourth back
I guess thats how she roll

Girl I wanna do it all over again (All over)
Come on lets do it like we always do
Break up and make up and break up (we always do)
And then we're making up (and then we make up)
Here we go again (Here we go,here we go)
Oh girl (oh)
Can we argue all over (argue all over)
Get jealous all over (all over)
Cuz I like gettin back with you (I like getting back with you)
Baby ooo
Lets do it over and over

Over and over again
Repeat til' fade

Overall Meaning

B.B. King's song "All Over Again" is about a couple who repeatedly goes through the same cycle of breaking up, arguing, making up, and then going through it all over again the next day. The singer is frustrated with the predictability of their relationship and feels helpless in breaking the cycle. He knows that they have been here before, and nothing ever seems to change, so he pleads with his partner to try something new. Despite the endless repetition, he cannot bring himself to leave her because he loves her too much.

The lyrics are straightforward and relatable. The song epitomizes the phrase "love-hate relationship" and the ups and downs that come with it. B.B. King's performance on the track is quite impressive, as usual, showcasing his signature guitar style and velvety vocals that have made him an iconic figure in blues music.

I've got a good mind to give up living, and go shopping
Instead
I say, I've got a good mind to give up living, and go
Shopping instead
To pick up me a tombstone, and be pronounced dead

When I read your letter this morning, that was in your
Place in bed
I read your letter this morning, that was in your place
In bed
And that's when I decided, that I would be better off
Dead

It read, there is no use you looking, or ever hoping to
Get me back
Oh, there's no use you looking, or ever hoping to get me
Back
Yes, because it's all over now, and baby you can bet on
That

Tengo buena memoria ...

@Irockthere4

Two years later Peter Green would take this BB King gem to another level.

@Hallands.

Peter who?

@Irockthere4

Peter who? Could play chords

@@Irockthere4 Yeah, there’s a lot of that going round. Not much to do with the blues, though! I found the „next level“ version you mentioned. Sounds like sissified pop imo. And of course nobody takes anything from the King of the Blues and brings it a level up! The best I’ve heard is not botching it. Never heard anyone bring the same clarity and power as BB to any blues. Ella had the clarity, Louis the power, neither had both. But he was strictly blues. Even jazz didn’t really work for him…

@@Hallands.
The UK bands and the legends among them who took the boring blues and
they made it( acceptable to be heard for rock fans and metal rock fans )and some of them like Peter Green made it sounds heavenly.
When you talk about legends like Green. leave the Fanaticism aside and real blues heads knows what Peter could do with a singe note that average blues player would need 2 minuets to give 30% of that note sensation.
*Sissified pop*?
haha thank good nobody takes your criticism for granted.

@Hallands.

@@normanyoung8464 Well, how heavenly and pinkish 😂

All three versions are fabulous: BB's original, FM/Peter Green's tour d' force, and Bloomfield's/Butterfield's masterpiece.
