曲も切ないけど、明菜さんの歌う表情も切なそう。だけど、明菜さんが歌うから自然と引き込まれそうになります。

恋人の嘘に苦しめられる。難破船よりも辛い曲だったのかもしれません。見ていて辛かったけど、歌いきる明菜ちゃんのプロ根性は、凄いと思いながら夢中で見ていました😢

愛は悪い夢ね、と歌っているのは確かまだ２０歳代前半ですか。当時どんな気持ちで、と考ると、・・・。歌詞に対して真摯で正直な人なんで。泳ぐような視線も、歌詞のない時の唇の動きも、サイレント唱法というようなテクでは片付けられないものがあって。難破船、I MISSED "THE SHOCK"、そしてこのLIAR。とても覚悟なしには歌えない大曲ばかりでしょう。しかも歌っている歌手の輝きは神々しいほど美しい、国宝級の記録映像です。セットも凝ってます、マルグリットかダリの絵のよう。
