They are also influenced by The Beatles, which is their favourite group whom they aspire to be like.
Their music has the unique ability to bring the listener to his feet or move the listener to tears. 這首歌發行的那年，我16歲，剛升高一，我追著這首浪漫的歌，跑到西門町、228公園聽現場，有一次和我同年的姪女問我：要去哪裡？
我說：去聽五月天的表演。
她說：他們是誰？
我想，現在應該沒有人不認識五月天吧，就是這麼一個美好的1999年，讓我開始認識五月天，也認識這首多年來每天陪伴我的歌，那一年，酸酸甜甜的，現在想起來還是莫名的感動。

在出專輯的同時，他們一直跑校園，還記的他們來到我們學校
我們還在說，學校快倒了，舞會請這種不知名樂團，還在現場賣專輯，還沒幾個人買
但是他們的曲風卻是我喜歡的抒情搖滾，還是首台語歌
事實證明，他們成功了，還是非常的成功，讓我也懷念當時的校園演場會
當時的回憶又隨著這首歌回來了，
就像鬼頭師說的"每個人都要有一首他的主題曲，每一段時間都要有一首插曲"
而這首就是我的插曲，主題曲是"倔強"
