大学時代に結成したバンドThousands Birdies' Legsで
ボーカル、作詞作曲を務める傍ら、弾き語りの活動を始める。
2007年ピアノ弾き語りによるメジャーデビューアルバム「御身」が各方面で話題になり，坂本龍一や大貫妙子らからも賛辞が寄せられる。
大林信彦監督作品「転校生　さよならあなた」の主題歌を担当した他、 CM、エッセイの分野でも活躍中
2006年3月１stミニアルバム「愛し、日々」発表。
2007年4月メジャー第一弾となる２ndアルバム「御身onmi」発表。
2007年6月大林宣彦監督「転校生　さよならあなた」主題歌(「さよならの歌」)担当。
2008年5月3rdアルバム「風はびゅうびゅう」発表。
2009年4月4thアルバム「愛の秘密」発表。
2010年6月5thアルバム「残照」、２ndシングル「「放送禁止歌」」発表。

Overall Meaning

The song 追想 starts with the singer narrating about receiving sudden words of separation from someone they are close to. The pain of it is described to be so intense that the memory of it runs like lightning in their mind, causing dizziness, and turning their heart white. The following verses describe the singer's state of mind, as they follow the sound of the departing person's shoes, and crying alone in the room, looking at their own wrist - perhaps contemplating self-harm.
